GETTING REAL About Workplace Violence - Advanced Guidance for Managers & Supervisors
Geared specifically for how to train Managers and Supervisors, this highly informative webinar is designed to enhance the level of awareness and deepen understanding of the early behavioral signs that can indicate the potential for Workplace Violence. Since Interpersonal Violence can often follow a common progression of escalating behaviors, the “Path to Violence” will also be presented, along with some basic managerial/ supervisory response recommendations. Additionally, we’ll present some practical considerations related to “Threat Awareness”, to help managers and supervisors identify and respond effectively to potential signs of increasing danger.
The material covered is aligned with the joint ASIS/SHRM American National Standard on Workplace Violence Prevention and Intervention, (ASIS/ SHRM WPVI.1-2011), which is aimed at helping organizations implement policies and procedures to more quickly identify threatening behavior and potential violence affecting the workplace, and to help organizations engage in effective incident management and resolution.
